近日，我会秘书长石明磊在北京会见原华为公司和原英国电信公司首席技术官麦特•布鲁斯（Matt Bross）先生一行，双方就“‘一带一路’专项基金”的合作内容进行了深入交流并达成广泛共识。
Recently council secretary-general Shi Minglei met Mr. Matt Bross, ex-CTO of Huawei Company and British Telecom, and his colleagues in Beijing. Both parties conducted in-depth exchanges and reached extensive consensus in cooperation regarding “the Belt and Road Specific Funds”.
随后，我会与麦特•布鲁斯（Matt Bross）先生签署合作协议，邀请其出任“‘一带一路’专项基金”科技创新专家委员会首届国际主席，并发放证书，合作期从2019年1月30日开始，为期五年。
A cooperative agreement was signed between Mr. Matt Bross and the council. He was invited to take the post of first International Chairman of the Science & Technology Innovation Council of “The Belt and Road Specific Funds.” He was issued an authenticated certificate outlining a cooperation period of five years beginning January 30, 2019.
为深入贯彻落实习近平总书记“一带一路”建设倡议，充分发挥中国经济改革研究基金会作为全国性公募、智库型基金会的平台优势与作用，我会于2018年设立“‘一带一路’专项基金”。专项基金科技创新专家委员会负责整合全球科技创新资源，为在中国有关城市和英国伦敦两地轮值举办“世界创新论坛”提供支撑。
“The Belt and Road Specific Funds” was established by the council in 2018. Its aim is to implement advocacy of the construction of “The Belt and Road” proposed by General Secretary of Xi Jinping. It serves to maximize advantages and roles for the China Reform Foundation as a national public offering and think tank type organization. The Science & Technology Innovation Council of the specific funds is in charge of integrating global scientific and technological innovation resources and provides support for holding the “World Innovation Forum” in related cities in China and London, England respectively.
麦特•布鲁斯（Matt Bross）先生是全球知名的科技创新专家，曾担任华为公司和英国电信公司的首席技术官。他热心公益事业，致力于推动科技创新，增进人类社会福祉。根据协议内容，我会是其在中国境内同类领域的唯一智库和官方合作机构。双方致力于通过在科技创新论坛、智库交流、成果转化、项目落地等方面紧密合作，促进全球范围破除壁垒思维，重构和加强信任关系，使科技创新成果更多、更好地惠及人们的生产、生活。
As a globally renowned expert in scientific and technological innovation, Mr. Matt Bross held the post of the CTO for Huawei Company and British Telecom. He is engaged in public welfare establishment, as well as promoting scientific and technological innovation and facilitating projects to support society. According to the agreement, our council is the only think tank and official cooperation agency within China in the same field. Both parties are engaged in promoting the elimination of thought barriers within global ranges and reconstructing and strengthening trust relationships. They shall do so based on tight cooperation in the aspects of science and technology innovation forums, think tank exchanges, achievement transformation and project implementation, acquiring more scientific and technological achievements and greatly benefiting societal standards of living.
我会外联部、办公室、“一带一路”专项基金等部门有关负责同志参加上述活动。
